31 Days to Get A Jump Start on Christmas: Wrap your Christmas Books

Okay mamas, this is one I have been meaning to get to for the past like 3 years.  Surely you've seen or heard of this idea!  Basically, you individually wrap each of your holiday  books for a sort of Advent Bedtime Routine and let your kiddos unwrap a new one each night :)  You don't have to have 24 books, you could do 12 or 10 or whatever you happen to have leading up to Christmas.  Aside from the cost of your gift wrap, this could be a freebie way to add some excitement to your season, and trust me, if you don't do it now, you probably won't :)

If you need/want to boost up your collection here are some of my favorites :)
1.  How the Grinch Stole Christmas | 2. The Biggest, Most Beautiful Christmas Tree Ever | 3. The Night Before Christmas | 4. Counting Christmas | 5. Olive The Other Reindeer | 6. The Snowy Day | 7. Happy Birthday Jesus | 8. The Animals' Christmas Eve | 9. Richard Scarry's Best Christmas Book Ever | 10. Olivia Helps With Christmas | 11. Little Miss Spider: A Christmas Wish

  1. You wanna know something kind of funny? I bought myself $100 worth of children's Christmas books last year and read a couple every morning when I woke up on my Christmas break. And you know I don't have kids! haha

Some of my favs are: The Christmas Candle, The Gift of the Magi, The year of the perfect Christmas tree, The Legend of the Christmas Stocking, Christmas Day in the Morning, The Carpenter's Gift, The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey, The Light of Christmas. These are all touching, more serious type books with a good message of what Christmas is really about but I think Yori would like some of them.
