Today's task is just for those of you taking on some kind of holiday party this Christmas. Make an all-inclusive to-do list with mini deadlines for your party so that you can tackle it in pieces rather than all at once. Christmastime lends itself pretty fabulously to theme parties, so pick what theme you'd like, pick a date, make your guest list (start thinking about invitations), and plan your food, decorations, and games/activities.

I think I'll have to do the favorite things party--been thinking about it for a year. I've been putting it off cuz so many of my peeps are on major budgets that don't allow extras but there are a lot of awesome things out there for under three dollars.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about a progressive party for a while now too, but I think people would be more into it if it was warmer. Maybe a Springtime thing. I think it would be fun to dress as gypsy's and then each destination would make a part of them meal: appetizer, soup/salad, main dish, dessert. Then everyone can be a hostess without having to do all the work of preparing a major dinner.
We did a minute to win it Summer Olympics a couple years ago and it was a blast so maybe I can talk my family into some of these games on Christmas Day! Thanks for all the great ideas again!
