Like I must be the EXACT target audience they were going for. This <a href="http://www.handmadecharlotte.com/friendly-ornament-garland/" target="_blank">garland tutorial by Handmade Charlotte</a> was one of those pins. Like I literally CAN. NOT. deal with how fabulous </span><span style="background-color: transparent; font-family: "arial"; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">this idea is.</span><span style="font-family: "arial"; white-space: pre-wrap;"> </span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: "arial"; font-size: large;"><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">The craft snob in me has been pretty hard on clear plastic ornaments in the past. Like they’re clear and plastic... and they look like it. Yah, no thanks. But I’m not about to hand my kiddos giant glass ornaments for this project so plastic it is. The second I dropped some paint in, I </span><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">squealed..</span><span style="white-space: pre-wrap;">.<i>eeeek! ALL THE HEART EYES!</i> This is the best idea ever! They maintain their gloss you can add any fun color and they legit are coming out looking like they’re straight out of my dream world:<a href="https://www.landofnod.com/holiday-decorations/decor/" target="_blank"> the Land of Nod catalog</a>. For reals, go buy ALL the clear plastic ornaments :P They’re such a win! </span></span></div>

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Hi friends! I'm just going to swoop past the fact that this is my first blog post in almost a year and a half and dive right back into some seasonal crafty fun, sound good? I think so too! </span></blockquote>
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">As a homeschooling mom (oh yah, that happened), I am often choosing what crafts and projects I want my kiddos to do. So when I was planning a fall party for my kids and their friends, I tried to think of something that could become a fun fall decoration rather than end up in next week's recycle bin (don't gasp, we're all guilty here). </span></blockquote>

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Pre-kid Prep:</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<ol style="text-align: left;">
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Cut handles off forks and file down any sharp or jagged edges (i used gardening clippers, those cheap forks are pretty flimsy and cut easily). I also painted mine with a hammered steel spray paint just out of color preference.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Stain your plywood circle bodies leaving enough time to dry.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Cut coin slices and wing halves.</span></li>
</ol>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Kid Assembly:</span></div>
<div>
<ol style="text-align: left;">
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Each owl needs 1 body circle, 2 fork feet, 2 bottle cap eyes, 2 nut eyeballs, 2 wood slice halves, some twine for hanging, and a handful of wood slice coins.</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Assist kiddos as they layout their owl and glue on their pieces. </span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Lay flat and allow to dry before attaching twine as a hanger on back (i used staples, but hot glue would probably do the trick too).</span></li>
</ol>
</div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pCC4I_n3PN8/Vk9XkN8ekaI/AAAAAAAACb8/hcAk5PgOOgI/s1600/kids%2Bowl%2Bcraft.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pCC4I_n3PN8/Vk9XkN8ekaI/AAAAAAAACb8/hcAk5PgOOgI/s640/kids%2Bowl%2Bcraft.jpg" width="640" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">My littles and their buddies seemed to enjoy this craft and I think I'll get a kick out of hanging these up for many an Autumn to come! Now bring on the Christmas :)</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3fGWmppuoqk/U5R-4sAWEUI/AAAAAAAACZY/Mmy1WlCgdC8/s1600/end+of+year+teacher+appreciation+gift.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3fGWmppuoqk/U5R-4sAWEUI/AAAAAAAACZY/Mmy1WlCgdC8/s1600/end+of+year+teacher+appreciation+gift.jpg" height="640" width="480" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">You guys, I must confess I am the world's biggest flake. I'm the worst at returning calls/texts/messages. I'm at minimum 15 minutes late to EVERYTHING. I still have a birthday present for my closest friend and her birthday is in February. . . I'm just the worst! But I really really want to be that friend, auntie, mom, student parent that remembers dates and occasions with cute packages and cards in the mail, arrives early, creates cute gifts for the fabulous teachers at the end of the year, etc. I managed this ONE thing this year, I'll keep working hard on the rest :)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Truth is, my girls both had incredible teachers this year (I wonder if I'll just think this every year). They both were just thrilled to walk through those doors and spend day after day with them. And as their mommy that struggled to drive away from them day after day, that has meant the world. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Here are the cute and pretty easy gift baskets we put together for my daughters' teachers to show some appreciation and send them off on their summer vacations! </span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z7iqat9ySIA/U5R-8IyKcNI/AAAAAAAACZs/bqKZldL5EyE/s1600/teacher+appreciation+gift.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z7iqat9ySIA/U5R-8IyKcNI/AAAAAAAACZs/bqKZldL5EyE/s1600/teacher+appreciation+gift.jpg" height="400" width="300" /></span></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">All you need is:</span><br />
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;">a cardboard 6-pack holder <i><span style="font-size: x-small;">You can get six packs of coke, or 3 different kinds of Crush sodas at Walmart which you could, in-turn, use for your gifts, I happened to have a secret stash of them so I bought my drinks separately</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;">2 Glass bottle drinks <i><span style="font-size: x-small;">how fabulously cute are those lemonades?! I found them for $1.68 at walmart and they came in several flavors</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">flip-flops, nail polish and gum that match the magazine color scheme <i><span style="font-size: x-small;">because color coordination just looks good!</span></i></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Fancy candy bar <span style="font-size: x-small;"><i>I fell in love with these "hello my name is ___" bars by Lindt, totally cute!</i></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Scrapbook paper and double sided tape.</span></li>
</ul>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Before filling, cut your scrapbook paper to fit the front of the carrier and attach with double sided tape. You could get really fancy here with labels, stickers, cricut or sihlouette cut-outs . . . I wish I had but I left mine plain and later attached a cute gift tag by whole punching directly into the corner in front of one of the bottles. Basically whatever you do at this step will be cute and fabulous!</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Assembly is just a matter of carefully tearing the dividers in the back rows so you can fit your magazine and flip flops across the three slots and then arranging as you see fit. I did use some crumpled up tissue paper in front of the candy bar to make the nail polish stick out. </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Here's how they turned out all assembled:</span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<br />
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ysP0M8qd77k/U5R-8K9yWvI/AAAAAAAACZo/stazKkBQn58/s1600/teacher+appreciation+gifts.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ysP0M8qd77k/U5R-8K9yWvI/AAAAAAAACZo/stazKkBQn58/s1600/teacher+appreciation+gifts.jpg" height="380" width="640" /></span></a><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Now, chances are your little probably has some kind of regular support staff that you may also want to acknowledge with a little gift. Using just two cute elements I through together these smaller gifts for the teachers' aids and helpers in their classrooms:</span><br />
<br />

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Wow this year went by fast! Yesterday was our last day of school! After both preschool and Kindergarten graduations, 2 field trips, and one birthday celebration at school, (all this week) this mama is pretty good and ready for some down time. But my day was already full of end of year parties, really competitive gymnastics sign ups, and the second to last T-ball game so I thought, <i>you're already crazy busy today, go all out! </i></span><br />
<i><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></i>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Here's a quick way you can deck out your entry way for your littles to come home to on their last day of school (and you can do it in between your errands)! Little cost and effort and big results (my fave combination!)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">What you need:</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Sunshine decorations <i>(Found these in the classroom supplies section of the dollar store, pack of 10)</i></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RMKS3H_q0Zk/U5EE4K1QwYI/AAAAAAAACX4/W9JPwnHOBv0/s1600/welcome+summer.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-RMKS3H_q0Zk/U5EE4K1QwYI/AAAAAAAACX4/W9JPwnHOBv0/s1600/welcome+summer.jpg" height="200" width="150" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Yellow Streamers <i>(our dollar store has 2 packs and I ended up using a little more than 1, but if you only had one you could just do shorter pieces, because it was definitely close)</i></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Sidewalk Chalk</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Painters tape and double sided tape <i>(I already had these so I'm not including them in the whole $3 total :P)</i></span></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Put a piece of painters tape across the top of your door jam just lightly enough to stay up. Then starting at one side, place the edge of the streamer just under the bottom of the tape and press down then let the streamers drop and cut off the bottom then repeat. <i> I like the look of varied lengths, and the tape held well once I pressed down each piece. </i></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><i><br /></i></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FgjNoPTPyR8/U5EFCCKybTI/AAAAAAAACYA/2esuuU7IfLI/s1600/welcome+summer+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FgjNoPTPyR8/U5EFCCKybTI/AAAAAAAACYA/2esuuU7IfLI/s1600/welcome+summer+2.jpg" height="640" width="300" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><i><br /></i></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Once you have your door curtained off you can add your sunshines at random heights and strips using double-sided tape. <i>Again, this tape held really well and the suns didn't add enough weight to pull down the streamers.</i></span><br />
<i><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></i>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-O4eaevpARTo/U5EFSSZ4imI/AAAAAAAACYI/I4NVZO-7yLI/s1600/Summer+Welcome+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-O4eaevpARTo/U5EFSSZ4imI/AAAAAAAACYI/I4NVZO-7yLI/s1600/Summer+Welcome+3.jpg" height="640" width="620" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Lastly, grab your sidewalk chalk and draw some suns, palm trees, smiles, anything you want welcoming your kiddos to their summer vacation!! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNtv6Ia4ydSijdqd-RJZxERh2cfbXwUG-VrEy4JfzKyTak_LE-PLyMPI1dSa4_xrMCoYbqkR8UoLdga1Vk_g6jWxE-nC_dD_RqcuXRNFEHw3_3jibWG8lMcDyPER_-rXLTmTlAmUzkh6g/s1600/first+day+of+summer.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNtv6Ia4ydSijdqd-RJZxERh2cfbXwUG-VrEy4JfzKyTak_LE-PLyMPI1dSa4_xrMCoYbqkR8UoLdga1Vk_g6jWxE-nC_dD_RqcuXRNFEHw3_3jibWG8lMcDyPER_-rXLTmTlAmUzkh6g/s1600/first+day+of+summer.jpg" height="640" width="430" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">My girls were pretty excited to see this as they got out of the car! And bonus for this photo-happy mama, that streamer curtain makes a pretty cute backdrop for some summery pictures :)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;">Now, this is pretty fun all on its own, but if you're at the dollar store anyways you might want to make some little summer gifty bags of sand toys, buckets, bubbles, silly string, etc. I actually found some pretty fabulous pineapple sunglasses that definitely had to happen! This ups the total beyond $3 but not by much :)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;">I'm a little off my game when it comes to creating a summer bucket list or calendar plan like I have in years past but I'm still super stoked for all the things we'll surely do!! </span><br />
<span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;">If your looking for some ideas, here are two big lists I compiled to get your brainstorm going:</span><br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: magenta; font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Hello there, little loves!</span> </span></b></div>
<br />
Can you believe it's already Easter weekend?? Seriously though, folks, why is this year in super-speed mode?! At any rate, here I am with only a couple days to spare and realizing I'm not really accomplishing the whole being that "decorates for every holiday" mom that I had always hoped to be. Lucky for me, my darling husband got me a Silhouette Cameo for Christmas. So last night I whipped up an adorable little bunny bunting banner with my girlies. Any basic bunny shape would do the trick here, but having a Cricut or a Silhouette sure does make it easy :)<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
I cut out 12 of the design <a href="http://www.silhouetteonlinestore.com/?page=view-shape&id=26398" target="_blank">"Bunny Doll" by Sophie Gallow</a>. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.silhouetteonlinestore.com/?page=view-shape&id=26398" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-67cVcCKYN7w/U1Ggk6ZctgI/AAAAAAAACWw/6AG_47PntCM/s1600/bunny+doll.jpg" /></a></div>
<br />
I did not use the eyes, nose, or inner ears, just the body. I sized them up to fit 2 per one Letter sized paper. Then my littlest chickadee and I applied self-adhesive googly eyes and drew in noses and smiles (and eyelashes just because!). Lastly, I glued simple text (size 144 font) to spell out Happy Easter (with a blank in between) on the tummies of the bunnies.<br />
<br />
The easiest-total cheater move-of the project is that we literally just bent over all their ears and hung them across a fun confetti yarn! You could do this with any bunny!<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">You guys, I am slow as a sloth when it comes to this whole <i>new year new me</i> thing (because we're almost through February, right?!?!?!). However, I'm still truckin' a long little by little towards my goals of an organized better functioning home. And naturally, part of organizing means buying fun new organizers :) haha right?!?! right, totally does. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Here's a fun way you can update some already cute mail/paper station organizers from Target!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">What you need:</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><a href="http://www.target.com/p/metal-wall-holder-set-silver/-/A-14935728" target="_blank">Metal wall baskets $19.99 @ Target</a></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Painters Tape</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Xacto knife and/or precision tiny scissors</span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Spray paint (I used the gold metallics from Rustoleum, but only after about 3 weeks and one marathon send-a-million-picture-texts-to-the-bestie session of trying to narrow down which color[s] to use)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FqB7YEYe7v8/UwjEYpC50oI/AAAAAAAACWE/AbPlZqUSjD4/s1600/spray+paint+diy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-FqB7YEYe7v8/UwjEYpC50oI/AAAAAAAACWE/AbPlZqUSjD4/s1600/spray+paint+diy.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">The real time comes from taping off the letters. I wanted to leave them their cool brushed steel gray so it had to be done. Because I wanted all of the basket to be gold, I had to painstakingly cut away little portions of the tape using an xacto knife and some tiny sharp scissors. This took me about 30-40 minutes, but felt longer :P </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Once you're satisfied with your taping all you have to do is get your spray paint on :) </span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-44x216irlYs/UwesuU5iWuI/AAAAAAAACV0/LSAjlgezzVY/s1600/DIY+mail+station.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-44x216irlYs/UwesuU5iWuI/AAAAAAAACV0/LSAjlgezzVY/s1600/DIY+mail+station.jpg" height="320" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">And here they are in my kitchen all hung and ready to roll! </span><br />

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">PS did you notice that adorable key hook update? That mini project took me all of 10 minutes (plus the agonizing time to let the paint dry). You can easily disassemble the hooks from the base to paint! They're super cheap and easy to find at any store! </span><br />

Anyways, it's fabulous! We've both burst out laughing at some point in almost every episode. If you're looking for a funny, lighthearted show to get hooked on, this is probably it :)</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">So happy President's Day! We've got big sis home from school today and even though the sun is shining, it is ridiculously windy out, so we've been inside all day.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">As of late, I've had too high-yielding little artists, so these chicas would be happy to fall into their regular routine of mass producing marker/crayon pictures. But today we jazzed it up a little by mixing in some magazine cut-outs as a jumping-off point and WOWZA did that create a thrill (I'm trying to soak in these moments where they're so easy to impress)!! So file this away under rainy day or time-filler activities, mamas. All you need are a couple fun faces/heads cut out from magazines and let your littles do the rest!</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Oh, hello there! I'm back from all the Christmas shenanigans and ready for a new year of awesome crafty goodness for this blog but I had to share JUST ONE last Christmassy fabulousness with you guys, and it's a good one so I think you'll appreciate it.</span><br />
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">I may have mentioned a time or two how much I love the movie Elf. It's a total Christmas fave in our house and I actually couldn't even tell you how many times we watched it this season now that my girls aren't terrified of the raccoon hug and Central Park Ranger's scenes :) My favorite part, being the random lover that I am, is Mr. Narwhal. <i>Bye, Buddy, hope you find your dad!</i> Seriously, that phrase might fall out of my mouth when leaving anyone anywhere at least on a weekly basis year-round (I know, I'm so cool sometimes!). </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">So, this year I decided to amp my annual ugly sweater party up a notch and make it Elf themed. So in a desire to insert fun elements of this movie all over my house I got the brilliant idea to paint my own favorite, Mr. Narwhal, on my bathroom mirror. I am NOT an artist, but he's pretty basic shape and I knew if I looked at a picture I could probably figure it out! PLUS, here's a fun tip if you want to give mirror painting a try: practice or outline your shapes with dry erase markers! </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">I used cheap tempera paints from Wal-Marts craft section (less than $2 a large bottle that will probably last me forever!!) in blue, black, and white! I mixed a little of a light grayish blue for the narwhal and some icy blue for the water. </span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">So fun, right?? I've <a href="http://googlyeyesandglitter.blogspot.com/2012/11/everything-christmas-jack-frost-used.html" target="_blank">"frosted" the bathroom mirror before last year</a>, but this took it to a whole new level, and seriously, I don't know when I'm going to get the nerve to wash him off :) (soon-ish, I promise!!). But I can't wait to maybe paint up a different holiday movie favorite next year . . . or next birthday or holiday maybe?! <i>Commencing Valentine's Day Mirror Paint Brainstorm!</i></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Hope your Christmas was nothing short of fabulous filled with lots and lots and lots of loved ones and laughter!</span></div>

<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">My other other half, my best friend, turned the big 3-0 recently and I wanted to give her a gift that was 30-rrific, fabulous and unique just like she is!!! Which is not really possible, but what I did manage to get together turned out pretty cute-tastic and worth a share! </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">So, I'm not stranger to giving surprise balls, they're a total blast. If you're not familiar, it's basically when you wrap a bunch of small gifts into a ball using crepe paper streamers, one gift and color at a time! The result is a beautiful colorful mess and anticipation as your recipient gets to unravel the presents one by one! They're totally fun and you should totally try one for your next gift-giving situation!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">But for Miss Carly, I knew I wanted to amp it up a bit. It couldn't be JUST a surprise ball with JUST a few gifts. It had to be SOMETHING and it had to have 30 gifts!! Had to :) Sooooo, naturally, I fashioned it into a swan :) I remembered <a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pin/140878294566318106/" target="_blank">a pin from long ago</a> of a vintage swan suprise ball: ultra fabulous!! So after wrapping the 30 fabulous little gifties I'd collected into a ball of rainbow streamers, I gave it one last coat of white and then attached a cardboard tube neck with a floral wire head (pretty 2 dimensional but by just adding a little wadded up ball of streamers on each "cheek" as I wrapped it totally took on a head shape!). Then I wrap wrap wrapped it some more in MORE white streamers! When she was all done I glued on some feathers, drew some eyes and made a gold birthday crown and necklace with some glittered ribbon!</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Did you totally love <a href="http://googlyeyesandglitter.blogspot.com/2013/12/glass-canister-challenge-advent.html" target="_blank">Taumi's idea of making an advent calendar in a jar</a> as a holiday-time centerpiece? </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Today I'm sharing my jar creation: a jar full of cozy place to store all those mittens and hats. I was motivated by our constant loss of mittens and hats here at the time when we really need them. This would also make a fabulous gift for an entire family as temperatures drop! </span></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://googlyeyesandglitter.blogspot.com/search/label/Holiday%20Glass%20Canister%20Challenge" target="_blank"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Pzvti3Q5q-I/Uqet3Xdih0I/AAAAAAAACRc/Z0uNFXYENJw/s640/diy+glass+jar.jpg" height="428" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">One of my most favorite of favorite and versatile items (across all genres of gifts, home decor, storage & organization) is the 2 gallon Anchor Hawking glass cookie jar/canister. These fabulous jars sell for a mere $9.99 at our local walmart and only $12.99 at Target, and the possibilities of what you can do with them are really quite endless. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/07/64/40/69/0007644069372_180X180.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><img border="0" src="http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/07/64/40/69/0007644069372_180X180.jpg" /></span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">I thought it would be fun to call on the two craftiest peeps I know and give them the challenge to fill or transform one of these jars for the holidays (and of course I couldn't resist doing one too!). I'll be sharing their and my fun jar ideas over the next several days!</span></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">First up, we have Taumi. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ao_EH1HRIEo/UqnXG-OTUjI/AAAAAAAACRs/LslhowvSXgo/s1600/meet+taumi.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ao_EH1HRIEo/UqnXG-OTUjI/AAAAAAAACRs/LslhowvSXgo/s640/meet+taumi.jpg" height="240" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Guess who has 2 thumbs and didn't heed her own bloggity advice about getting her advent calendar completed way in advance . . . THIS GIRL!! So there I was the night before December 1, sawing down mailing and gift wrap tubes to add to the toilet and paper towel rolls I had begun saving way too late to have the full 48 (although I prefered the variety of sizes so let's just say that's how I'd always envisioned it!!). Here's the ugly truth about last-minute (or any really) craft marathons:</span><br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
Okay, so we interrupt the Christmas frenzy currently going on in my head:<br />
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wFxTWQ6CoSA/UovRWC09zPI/AAAAAAAACOc/sQa7k660PQQ/s1600/christmas+selfie.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-wFxTWQ6CoSA/UovRWC09zPI/AAAAAAAACOc/sQa7k660PQQ/s320/christmas+selfie.png" width="262" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
... to bring you this awesome fall wreath project. A week or two ago, my awesome friend, <a href="http://www.thebeekeeperswife.com/" target="_blank">The Beekeeper's Wife</a>, pinned this amazing pine cone wreath:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://thecuriousbumblebee.tumblr.com/" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/e2/79/66/e279661927d855eaf3ddc1082782d89b.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><a href="http://thecuriousbumblebee.tumblr.com/" target="_blank">via The Curious Bumblebee on Tumblr</a></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Which I quickly re-pinned only to find no tutorial, just beautiful pictures. So after some major pinterest sleuthing I came up a little short on the how-to and decided to just dive in (this attitude does not often produce successful crafting!!). </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I clean my dad's business office in the early mornings and I have many a time noticed the treasure trove of pine cones littering the pine-tree lined parking lot. So the other day I armed myself with an empty computer paper box, and climbed up onto the retaining wall and began inspecting and collecting a surplus of these nature gems :) Dressed in my ratty, bleach-stained cleaning clothes, I'm sure I looked quite curious as I excitedly held each treasure up making sure the bottoms were pretty!!! I don't fill my look-like-a-crazy-lady-card every day but this day I managed to before 8 am!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-t8XI13CwOXg/UovU8L4581I/AAAAAAAACOo/4HEIxG_ue5Y/s1600/pinecones.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-t8XI13CwOXg/UovU8L4581I/AAAAAAAACOo/4HEIxG_ue5Y/s320/pinecones.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">The wreath form I got was $5 from Walmart and was foam but the smooth shiny foam, not the scratchy disintegrate-y kind. I mention this because I spray-painted mine brown first and you can't spray paint the other kind of foam, it just melts (I've learned from experience!). </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The most tedious part would be cutting the pine cones in half. I did that because the inspiration picture is pretty much focused on the bottoms of the pine cones which--btw--are totally beautiful, why have I not noticed that before?? Plus, cutting them results in a nice flatish area to apply heaps of hot glue. I used garden clippers and it was a pain! The whole time I kept thinking how much easier it would be with a small hand saw that could just saw them down. I probably would have saved lots of time if I just stopped and went to rummage in the garage to find one, but I was too lazy to do that which--in turn--meant I did things the harder/longer way (doesn't make any sense I know!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<i><span style="color: blue;"><span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20px; text-align: start;">I got to write these jokes. So, I sit at the hotel at night and I think of something that's funny. Or, If the pen is too far away, I have to convince myself that what I thought of wasn't funny.</span><br style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20px; text-align: start;" /><strong style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 12px; line-height: 20px; text-align: start;">Mitch Hedberg</strong></span></i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Then I got my hot glue on, only suffered a few minor burns (I keep wondering why I can't learn to not grasp the falling item that is coated in hot glue I-myself-just put there!!!)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/9e/bb/a6/9ebba67f7f7a9da6dd7773ef22dd7baf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/9e/bb/a6/9ebba67f7f7a9da6dd7773ef22dd7baf.jpg" width="160" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.pinterest.com/pin/165085142561866079/" target="_blank"><span style="font-size: x-small;">img source</span></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<span style="text-align: left;">Much to my surprise it worked!! I was skeptical the hot glue would hold those little guys to the foam form but it totally did! (granted I used about half a glue stick per cone). I worked the whole wreath with it lying flat so the back is bare and will lay nicely against the door. I mixed in a couple "whole" cones (which really I cut off the side to make flat). The whole project took me only about an hour and 45 minutes </span><i style="text-align: left;">not bad by crafting standards!</i></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here's how it turned out: </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lM9M1IT49w0/UovEPEIeUcI/AAAAAAAACOM/sInrKDOkWZc/s1600/pine+cone+wreath.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lM9M1IT49w0/UovEPEIeUcI/AAAAAAAACOM/sInrKDOkWZc/s640/pine+cone+wreath.png" width="720" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm hoping to get all Thanksgiving-y up in here as I'm hosting a pretty big group! This would be easier if I could pull myself away from those darn Hallmark Christmas movies and my pandora Christmas station. At any rate, maybe another fall-esque project or two may pop up here, be on the lookout! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope your week is going lovely! ♥</div>

<span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;">I would suspect (or hope) that I am not the only mamma out there that has sometimes wished something they saw in the little girls clothes section came in an adult size. Oh how I felt that way when I came across this little gem of a sweatshirt for my littlest chica at H&M a little over a year ago. I am not even sure she liked/likes it that much, but I loved it so dearly I had to buy it and I still am utterly thrilled every time she wears it.</span><br />

<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ezOEmqOyR68/UnQktkXAN_I/AAAAAAAACM4/7awBnbTC_kw/s1600/sweatshirt+makeover.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="564" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ezOEmqOyR68/UnQktkXAN_I/AAAAAAAACM4/7awBnbTC_kw/s640/sweatshirt+makeover.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Needless to say, it was a complete and total lightbulb-epiphany-total ah ha moment when I thought<i> why don't I just make myself a knock-off adult version one???!?!?!?</i> DUH!!! Only took me a year to think of it, but I'm thrilled to give it a go!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">So here's how I did it:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Supplies:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">White sweatshirt (pick something nice and comfy that you like the fit of, mine is just a cheap Hanes one from walmart)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Washable glue (elmer's or other)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Rit Dye (or any dye, I chose Lemon Yellow, you've got lots and lots of options here!)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Black fabric marker</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Fabric paint (white, pink, blue)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Step 1:</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1qVhrpOhImc/UnQlYWoi8VI/AAAAAAAACNA/X7kW6FtwYnQ/s1600/glue+batik+fabric.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1qVhrpOhImc/UnQlYWoi8VI/AAAAAAAACNA/X7kW6FtwYnQ/s400/glue+batik+fabric.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">The inspiration top is yellow with an allover pattern of white hearts. The way I went about getting this look was to do a sort of "batik" technique using washable glue to first polka dot my sweatshirt. The idea here is that when you dye the fabric the areas you've saturated with washable glue will not take but the glue will/should wash off once you launder it leaving those areas white. Pretty awesome, right?!?!! I am totally revisiting this technique on more projects! **Note I just went with dots but you could totally do the hearts, or maybe some writing!!!*** I did the front with a piece of cardboard in between the layers of the shirt, then after it dried enough to be tacky I flipped it and repeated on the back side. After this step, let your glue dry overnight. (<i>***UPDATE: wish I had been more generous with my glue dots for a stronger resist, maybe even 2 layers, they looked FAB at the beginning of the dying process but they began to melt off and in turn dye a little bit, so the contrast wasn't near what i wanted, but there's always next time! Also if I was too worried I could go back over with a bleach pen . . . but i'm not :P</i>)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Step 2:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Dye according to package directions. I've used several brands, and I don't really have a favorite! You'll need some rubber gloves and a bucket or stainless steel sink. Don't be intimidated by dying fabric, it's easier than you think!!! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2aqp-qYQmHk/UnQmXlHW7xI/AAAAAAAACNI/-yShDgKyY_c/s1600/fabric+dyeing.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-2aqp-qYQmHk/UnQmXlHW7xI/AAAAAAAACNI/-yShDgKyY_c/s400/fabric+dyeing.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Step 3</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Replicate your image. I did quite a few practice runs on freehand copying this image before I really went with it! I would suggest using a pencil to lightly sketch on the shirt first. Once you have the design how you want, fill in the lines with the fabric pen and any colors with the paint. Take your time!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Step 4:</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Embellish! I just hand tacked on a simple fabric bow.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-40Jbbc9Me_0/UnRFun6PqLI/AAAAAAAACNY/BjnUQznmQQM/s1600/sweatshirt+makeover2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-40Jbbc9Me_0/UnRFun6PqLI/AAAAAAAACNY/BjnUQznmQQM/s400/sweatshirt+makeover2.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">And there ya go!!! Wooooooooooooould we say I can pull this off???? hahaha don't care! I'm doing it anyways!!! This was such a smashing success I can't wait to pick another item out of my girlies' wardrobe to knock off!!</span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-w40ODXw5EQM/UnHaqilFFiI/AAAAAAAACIM/aJZVy7eEh0s/s1600/Prepare+for+Christmas+31.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-w40ODXw5EQM/UnHaqilFFiI/AAAAAAAACIM/aJZVy7eEh0s/s640/Prepare+for+Christmas+31.jpg" width="476" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: 'Courier New', Courier, monospace;">Would you believe that I sometimes have a hard time embracing the Christmas spirit. It's true, sometimes all it takes is a cozy smell or a sweet Christmas song to jolt me back into gear! Spend sometime today to think of little touches you can make in your home to add some Christmas sparkle to your life this season. Here's my idea list, would love to hear yours!!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;"><br /></span>
<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Christmas Scented Hand soaps, lotions, bodywash (hello Bath & Body Works!! Twisted Peppermint and Vanilla Bean Noel are my absolute faves! who wouldn't want to smell like food ;) haha the only time of year this feels legit!)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Frosted Bathroom Mirrors (big bang for little buck)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Christmas Home Fragrances (scentsy, wax melts, whatever! <i>Winter</i> candle/wallflower at Bath & Body Works smells exactly like Christmas, I love it so much!!!)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Holiday/Winter printed sheets</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Change out your couch pillows for Christmas ones</span></li>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Decorated sugar cookies are a Christmas must in our house. But if we're being real, the fun part is totally the decorating, not the making (this is especially true with young children!). So this year I'm going to bypass that "ughhhh" that zaps my motivation when the kiddos get the cookie decorating bug and do the hard part of making my cookie dough now! Most cookie dough recipes seem to be able to handle being frozen ahead of time and true story: I might even take it a step farther and roll, cut and bake a dozen or two before freezing for a really quick (just pull out and decorate!!). I used to work at a place in the mall food court with essentially the world's best sugar cookies and we totally made them ahead of time and froze them to be decorated later as we needed, it works, I promise! </span></div>

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Let's face it, you probably aren't going to have a lot of deep cleaning time from that first day of Thanksgiving vacation till after Christmas. Spend some time today making a list of some extra's you'd like to tend to before the hustle and bustle of the holidays (and guests using your bathrooms!!) rolls in! If you're feeling all ambitious you can even start it!</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Here are some of the things on my list:</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Clean out car within an inch of it's life including a full vacuum and interior wipe down</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Take apart Carseats and wash covers (oh how I wish I made myself do this WAY more often)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Vacuum along and wipe down baseboards</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Take apart couch and vacuum all crevices (not to mention clean underneath, oh I can only imagine the treasures waiting for me there!!)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Clean off porch</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Organize entry for easy drop off of cold weather gear (tray for muddy boots, basket for gloves and hats)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Deep deep clean bathrooms, scrub floors don't forget the dust bunnies and grossies hiding behind the toilet (I'm also going to throw together quick go-to kits for quick 5 minute touch ups periodically through the holidays including clorox wipes, windex and toilet bowl cleaner)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Light Fixtures</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Vacuum Mattresses</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Wipe down cabinetry in kitchen & bathrooms</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Wipe down windowsills and mouldings</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Clean and organize my purse!</span></li>
<li><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Wash dog bed and dogs while we're at it :)</span></li>

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Oh how I love putting on my baking hat at Christmas time! Oh how I don't love the many trips to the store because I'm missing one key ingredient! This year I'm going to attempt to strategically plan out all my holiday baking and make a very thorough supplies/ingredients list. The good news is almost everything I'll need for my holiday baking has a shelf-life longer than the 8 weeks till Christmas which means I could get all the things I need now and hopefully be ready raring to go when it's time to get my bake on! </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace;">Can't forget all the annoyingly easy to overlook: decorating bags, food color, sprinkles, wax paper, cupcake liners, etc. Need some inspiration?:</span></div>
